Nanny and Home Staff Descriptions

Nannies are responsible for offering safe, nurturing, in home childcare and perform all tasks that relate to the well being of the child. Nannies must have at least 2 years of professional childcare or sitter experience, their own transportation with car insurance and are required to be CPR/First Aid Certified prior to placement. The pay rate can range from $18-30+/hr depending on experience, employment history, location, and nanny job duties.
 
Temporary Nannies and Sitters offer short term or last minute care for families or events.
 
Household Managers may have childcare duties but mostly oversee the affairs of the home. They are responsible for overseeing family scheduling, provide household assistance, pay bills, run errands and grocery shopping, management of venders, calendars and organization. The pay rate can range from $22-35/hr depending on the job description, education and experience.
 
Personal Assistants mainly focus on the personal needs of the client. Personal assistants offer administrative to very light childcare duties, handle personal shopping, daily scheduling, errands, appointments, meetings and travel arrangements. They are encouraged to be CPR/First Aid Certified and must have reliable transportation with insurance. The pay rate can range from $20-35/hr depending on the job description, education and experience.
