  • Meet weekly with mentee for 1-2 hours and participate in an activity that we choose together (homework, playing catch, cooking, library visit, etc).

  • Attend monthly mentor group meeting. Responsible for tracking time involved with mentee and report hours monthly to mentoring program coordinator once a month.

  • Internship as a Registered Nurse: Duties; helping provide information to patients as well as their family members about their care and provide physical care to the elderly. 

  • Phlebotomist Assistant: Visited In Patients to collect, transport, handle, and process blood and other specimens for laboratory analysis; I was responsible for filling out each patients information chart.   

  • Catheterization Laboratory: With the Physician I visited patients before surgery making          sure they were comfortable and all their needs had been met.

  • Intensive Care Unit: Duties; monitoring patients with an Endotracheal Tube.
