Community Life Coordinator

Mennonite Home Communities - Lancaster, PA

November 2017 to October 2021

My responsibilities as the Community Life Coordinator included planning and executing large-scale events and activities for more than 600 residents of Woodcrest Villa. I regularly booked both entertainers and professional speakers for programs on our campus. In addition, I planned day trips and local excursions for our residents. I was the staff liaison to three resident committees, assisted with the social media campaign, and managed a sizable budget. I also managed reservations for our conference rooms and oversaw campus amenities including the community greenhouse, gardens, and wood shop.

 

 

Lifestyle Director

Traditions of America - Lititz, PA

November 2015 to November 2017

At Traditions of America I was responsible for facilitating their Live Better lifestyle by creating events and activities that enhance the lives of the homeowners. I provided tours of the community amenities, scheduled fitness classes, booked professionals for lectures, planned trips and assisted the sales team with prospect events. I managed the community clubhouse, guest home and the facility rental. I was the liaison between the residents of the community and the corporate office. I created the weekly community newsletter, activity and event calendars, flyers, sign-up sheets, policies and procedures, and, organized community ambassadors. I administered variance requests, assisted with the social media campaigns and maintained the community directory.

TAIT Towers - Lititz, PA

2013 to November 2015

As the Corporate Events Administrator/Executive Assistant for TAIT Towers, I managed all hospitality-related needs, including acting as host for high level guests, arranging client meetings, and planning and executing employee events, wellness programs and company-wide reward programs. I also supported TAIT's executive team by managing schedules, planning travel, tracking expenses, taking meeting minutes and more. I also arranged for visitor accommodations, managed corporate housing, and, acted as liaison with the Rock Lititz Community Partners, all while serving as the interim marketing coordinator for the company.
